My name is Nicole, I am a Vienna born and raised designer with Czech and Polish roots.
Most of all I enjoy challenges that revolve around the topics of user experience and interface design, but won’t say no to any other creative tasks coming my way.
I am currently based in New York and work as a designer at the Brand and Marketing Team at UNDP.
I am able to utilize design thinking and agile work methods to develop abstract ideas into real products. By involving the customer in the innovation process and iterative development, this results in solutions and innovations being created even closer to the user.
Experienced with development of design and branding concepts with the Adobe Creative suite. In addition to the existing skills, there is growing interest in motion design and animation.
Able to deliver low and high fidelity prototypes with the industry standard tools, including but not limited to: Balsamiq, Sketch, InVision Studio, Adobe XD and Figma. I also have basic knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, WordPress).
I am familiar with basics of photography: this includes studio photography, image editing and retouching.
Thanks to my practice-oriented and interdisciplinary education, I was able to gain a lot of experience during my studies. This ultimately shaped my strengths and passions for design, especially user interface and experience design.
Through the various experiences as an employee, but also as a freelance graphic designer, I have learned to respond to customer needs and to communicate solutions according to best practices in the industry.

Thanks to the broad range of topics covered during my bachelor’s degree, I was able to get a taste of many areas of the media world. Somewhere between the network technology labs and classes in the television studio, I finally found my place in the field of design.
During my education, I have repeatedly taken the opportunity to study abroad. I value the exposure not only to different cultures, but also to other methods and workflows.
