UNDP Annual Report 2025
As lead designer, I helped transform the UNDP Annual Report from a traditional publication into a digital-first storytelling platform centered on partnerships. Designed primarily for donors, development partners, and external stakeholders, the report combined an immersive web experience with a supporting print product, enabling UNDP to communicate results, acknowledge partner contributions, and support resource mobilization efforts worldwide.
Client: United Nations Development Programme

Digital-first by design
The 2025 Annual Report was conceived as a responsive web experience from the outset, unlike in previous years where the approach was prioritizing a printed version. Content, navigation, data visualization, motion, and storytelling were designed primarily for digital audiences, with print outputs adapting from the same system.
The website combined interactive content, multimedia storytelling, partner testimonials, and modular reporting sections to create a more engaging and accessible user experience across devices.
My Responsibilities:
- Design lead for digital experience
- Collaboration on creative concept development
- Information architecture and UX design
- Collaboration with content, digital, and other stakeholder teams
- Design for localization and outreach assets
Structure, strategy & systems
A flexible information architecture was developed to support layered exploration — allowing users to move seamlessly between high-level strategic priorities and detailed thematic content. The experience accommodates both quick scanning and deeper engagement, addressing the needs of diverse global audiences without overwhelming the reader.
A unified visual system was applied consistently across all touchpoints, reinforcing coherence and brand integrity. As a result, the Strategic Plan operates not as a standalone publication, but as a connected communication ecosystem built for global use.
Amplifying impact beyond launch
Formally endorsed by the UNDP Executive Board in 2025, the Strategic Plan was supported by a comprehensive suite of digital and print assets to enable leadership, Member States, and country offices to communicate its priorities clearly and confidently during the global rollout.
The interactive web version is available in English, Spanish, and French, broadening access for diverse global audiences. The print publication is available in all six official UN languages — English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian — reinforcing UNDP’s commitment to inclusive communication. Social media assets were produced in English, Spanish, and French to support global engagement and outreach.
This project demonstrates how a holistic design approach can distill complex institutional priorities into durable, scalable communication products — reinforcing the role of clarity, accessibility, and adaptability in global development communication.
